Closing in Calm
Five days with nothing to solve.
December 1 — 5, 2026
☀︎ · ☾
Maybe 2026 asked more of you than you thought you could hold.
You’ve had to make hard decisions, face changes, perhaps live through loss. You’ve had to be there for everyone, even on the days when you needed someone to be there for you.
And between everything there was to solve, there was no time left for what matters most: you.
So before the year ends, I want to invite you to do something different.
Five days to let go. To truly rest. To let yourself be cared for.
Five days without worrying about schedules, meals or what comes next. Where someone looks after you and every detail is taken care of. Where your only task is to enjoy, to look at the sea and to breathe.
No to-dos. No demands. Nothing to prove. No having to be there for everyone.
Because after a year of giving so much, you deserve this rest.
This time, let us take care of you.

The place
Haramara
Twelve acres of private jungle above the Pacific. Candlelit casitas open to the sea. One of the last places where you can still disappear for a while.

What makes it different
Five reasons to come

01
It’s not just yoga
Tania’s practice moves from strength to calm within a single session: Hatha, Vinyasa, yin, restorative and Soul Yoga. Around it, the inner work with Dulce: writing and visualization, guided mental training with a method.

02
Truly unplug
Signal here is shy: it only reaches one corner of Haramara, in case someone needs to find you. In your casita, just candlelight and the sound of the sea. No screens, no notifications: you finally hear yourself.

03
Ancient rites
A temazcal ceremony to give back to the fire what has already served its time, and a bonfire under the stars.

04
A sacred mountain
A hike up Monkey Mountain, where the Wixárika people have left Ojos de Dios for centuries. A 360° summit over Banderas Bay and the Marietas Islands, in humpback whale season.

05
A table set as an offering
Living, local, chef-crafted cuisine, vegetarian or fish. Each meal served as a way of being present.

December 2026
Stop for a moment.
Breathe, slowly, once. As you inhale, something in you lights up: the body fills with strength. As you exhale, something surrenders: you let go, you soften. Strength and surrender in a single breath.
In Sanskrit, ha is sun and tha is moon: Hatha yoga doesn’t mean “posture”, it means the union of what we believed were opposites. Your light and your shadow, because you don’t have to choose: it’s time to embrace both and close the year in calm.
That is why this retreat asks nothing of you. No alarm clock, no menu to choose from, no time to be anywhere, nobody waiting for you to solve something. Tania sets the body in motion in the morning and melts it in the afternoon. Haramara’s kitchen takes care of the rest. I only take care of making the conversation good, and of closing the year with you inside it.
I would love for you to be one of them.

Your guides

Tania Lomelí
15+ years on the mat · 1,000+ hours of certified training
Her training spans the whole arc of yoga: Hatha (RYT-400), Vinyasa (RYT-300), Soul Yoga (RYT-500), Yoga Wheel and Yoga Kids. A rare command of the body that moves as easily through the most demanding postures as through absolute stillness. Under her guidance no one is left behind, whatever your level.

Dulce Vázquez
Founder of ALMA · Master in Mental Application
More than 13 years of corporate life gave her a résumé that looked complete from the outside, until her body refused to keep pretending and forced her to stop. In that crack the light got in, and ALMA was born. Her sessions aren’t motivation, but guided mental training with a method. She leads from having walked it herself.

Your questions, answered
No. This is a retreat to rest, not to master poses. Nothing on the program is compulsory and Tania adapts everything to your level. If one day you only want the hammock and the sea, that counts too.
Your flight should land in Puerto Vallarta by 11:00 am on December 1, and your return flight should depart after 2:00 pm on December 5. That way you make the group transfer both ways, with no rush.
Fly into Puerto Vallarta (PVR). The round-trip group transfer to Haramara is included.
No. There’s no signal in the casitas, but there is in one area of Haramara, so you can check your phone whenever you like and stay reachable if someone needs you.
Yes, most guests arrive on their own. Book a single room, or share a double or triple with another guest.
The deposit is non-refundable, but you can transfer your spot to anyone you wish.
